The Tabernacle Erected

1 Then the LORD ^H3068 spoke ^H1696 to Moses ^H4872, saying ^H559,

2 “On the first ^H7223 day ^H3117 of the first ^H259 month ^H2320 you shall set ^H6965 up ^H6965 the [fn]tabernacle ^H4908 of the tent ^H168 of meeting ^H4150. 3 You shall place ^H7760 the ark ^H727 of the testimony ^H5715 there ^H8033, and you shall screen ^H5526 off ^H5526 the ark ^H727 with the veil ^H6532. 4 Then you shall bring ^H935 in ^H935 the table ^H7979 and arrange ^H6186 [fn]what ^H6187 belongs ^H6187 on it; and you shall bring ^H935 in ^H935 the lampstand ^H4501 and [fn]mount ^H5927 its lamps ^H5216. 5 You shall also set ^H5414 the gold ^H2091 altar ^H4196 of incense ^H7004 in front ^H6440 of the ark ^H727 of the testimony ^H5715, and set ^H7760 up ^H7760 the curtain ^H4539 for the doorway ^H6607 to the tabernacle ^H4908. 6 And you shall set ^H5414 the altar ^H4196 of burnt ^H5930 offering ^H5930 in front ^H6440 of the doorway ^H6607 of the tabernacle ^H4908 of the tent ^H168 of meeting ^H4150. 7 Then you shall set ^H5414 the basin ^H3595 between ^H996 the tent ^H168 of meeting ^H4150 and the altar ^H4196, and put ^H5414 water ^H4325 [fn]in it. 8 You shall also set ^H7760 up ^H7760 the courtyard ^H2691 all ^H5439 around ^H5439 and [fn]hang ^H5414 up ^H5414 the curtain ^H4539 for the gate ^H8179 of the courtyard ^H2691. 9 Then you shall take ^H3947 the anointing ^H4888 oil ^H8081 and anoint ^H4886 the tabernacle ^H4908 and everything ^H3605 that is in it, and consecrate ^H6942 it and all ^H3605 its [fn]furnishings ^H3627; and it shall be holy ^H6944. 10 You shall also anoint ^H4886 the altar ^H4196 of burnt ^H5930 offering ^H5930 and all ^H3605 its utensils ^H3627, and consecrate ^H6942 the altar ^H4196, and the altar ^H4196 shall be most ^H6944 holy ^H6944. 11 And you shall anoint ^H4886 the basin ^H3595 and its stand ^H3653, and consecrate ^H6942 it. 12 Then you shall bring ^H7126 Aaron ^H175 and his sons ^H1121 to the doorway ^H6607 of the tent ^H168 of meeting ^H4150 and wash ^H7364 them with water ^H4325. 13 And you shall put ^H3847 the holy ^H6944 garments ^H899 on ^H3847 Aaron ^H175 and anoint ^H4886 him and consecrate ^H6942 him, so that he may serve ^H3547 as ^H3547 a ^H3547 priest ^H3547 to Me. 14 You shall also bring ^H7126 his sons ^H1121 and put ^H3847 tunics ^H3801 on ^H3847 them; 15 and you shall anoint ^H4886 them just ^H834 as ^H834 you have anointed ^H4886 their father ^H1, so that they may serve ^H3547 as ^H3547 priests ^H3547 to Me; and their anointing ^H4888 will [fn]qualify ^H1961 them for a permanent ^H5769 priesthood ^H3550 throughout their generations ^H1755.” 16 So Moses ^H4872 did ^H6213 these things; according to all ^H3605 that the LORD ^H3068 had commanded ^H6680 him, so ^H3651 he did ^H6213.

17 Now in the first ^H7223 month ^H2320 [fn]of the second ^H8145 year ^H8141, on the first ^H259 day of the month ^H2320, the [fn]tabernacle ^H4908 was erected ^H6965. 18 Moses ^H4872 erected ^H6965 the tabernacle ^H4908 and [fn]laid ^H5414 its bases ^H134, and set ^H7760 up ^H7760 its boards ^H7175, and [fn]inserted ^H5414 its bars ^H1280, and erected ^H6965 its pillars ^H5982. 19 And he spread ^H6566 the tent ^H168 over ^H5921 the tabernacle ^H4908 and put ^H7760 the covering ^H4372 of the tent ^H168 [fn]on top ^H4605 of it, just ^H834 as ^H834 the LORD ^H3068 had commanded ^H6680 Moses ^H4872. 20 Then he took ^H3947 the testimony ^H5715 and put ^H5414 it into the ark ^H727, and [fn]attached ^H7760 the poles ^H905 to the ark ^H727, and put ^H5414 the [fn]atoning ^H3727 cover ^H3727 [fn]on top ^H4605 of the ark ^H727. 21 He then brought ^H935 the ark ^H727 into the tabernacle ^H4908, and set ^H7760 up ^H7760 a veil ^H6532 for the covering ^H4539, and screened ^H5526 off ^H5526 the ark ^H727 of the testimony ^H5715, just ^H834 as ^H834 the LORD ^H3068 had commanded ^H6680 Moses ^H4872. 22 He also put ^H5414 the table ^H7979 in the tent ^H168 of meeting ^H4150 on the north ^H6828 side ^H3409 of the tabernacle ^H4908, outside ^H4480 H2351 the veil ^H6532. 23 And he set ^H6186 the arrangement ^H6187 of bread ^H3899 in ^H6186 order ^H6186 on it before ^H6440 the LORD ^H3068, just ^H834 as ^H834 the LORD ^H3068 had commanded ^H6680 Moses ^H4872. 24 Then he placed ^H7760 the lampstand ^H4501 in the tent ^H168 of meeting ^H4150, opposite ^H5227 the table ^H7979, on the south ^H5045 side ^H3409 of the tabernacle ^H4908. 25 And he lighted ^H5927 the lamps ^H5216 before ^H6440 the LORD ^H3068, just ^H834 as ^H834 the LORD ^H3068 had commanded ^H6680 Moses ^H4872. 26 Then he placed ^H7760 the gold ^H2091 altar ^H4196 in the tent ^H168 of meeting ^H4150 in front ^H6440 of the veil ^H6532; 27 and he burned ^H6999 fragrant ^H5561 incense ^H7004 on it, just ^H834 as ^H834 the LORD ^H3068 had commanded ^H6680 Moses ^H4872. 28 Then he set ^H7760 up ^H7760 the curtain ^H4539 for the doorway ^H6607 of the tabernacle ^H4908. 29 And he set ^H7760 the altar ^H4196 of burnt ^H5930 offering ^H5930 in front of the doorway ^H6607 of the tabernacle ^H4908 of the tent ^H168 of meeting ^H4150, and offered ^H5927 on it the burnt ^H5930 offering ^H5930 and the meal ^H4503 offering ^H4503, just ^H834 as ^H834 the LORD ^H3068 had commanded ^H6680 Moses ^H4872. 30 He placed ^H7760 the basin ^H3595 between ^H996 the tent ^H168 of meeting ^H4150 and the altar ^H4196, and put ^H5414 water ^H4325 in it for washing ^H7364. 31 From it Moses ^H4872 and Aaron ^H175 and his sons ^H1121 washed ^H7364 their hands ^H3027 and their feet ^H7272. 32 When they entered ^H935 the tent ^H168 of meeting ^H4150, and when they approached ^H7126 the altar ^H4196, they washed ^H7364, just ^H834 as ^H834 the LORD ^H3068 had commanded ^H6680 Moses ^H4872. 33 And he erected ^H6965 the courtyard ^H2691 all ^H5439 around ^H5439 the [fn]tabernacle ^H4908 and the altar ^H4196, and [fn]hung ^H5414 up ^H5414 the curtain ^H4539 for the gate ^H8179 of the courtyard ^H2691. So Moses ^H4872 finished ^H3615 the work ^H4399.

The Glory of the LORD

34 Then the cloud ^H6051 covered ^H3680 the tent ^H168 of meeting ^H4150, and the glory ^H3519 of the LORD ^H3068 filled ^H4390 the tabernacle ^H4908.

35 And Moses ^H4872 was ^H3201 not able ^H3201 to enter ^H935 the tent ^H168 of meeting ^H4150 because ^H3588 the cloud ^H6051 had settled ^H7931 on it, and the glory ^H3519 of the LORD ^H3068 filled ^H4390 the tabernacle ^H4908. 36 Throughout ^H3605 their journeys ^H4550, whenever the cloud ^H6051 was taken ^H5927 up ^H5927 from over ^H5921 the tabernacle ^H4908, the sons ^H1121 of Israel ^H3478 would set ^H5265 out ^H5265; 37 but if ^H518 the cloud ^H6051 was not taken ^H5927 up ^H5927, then they did not set ^H5265 out ^H5265 until ^H5704 the day ^H3117 when it was taken ^H5927 up ^H5927. 38 For throughout ^H3605 their journeys ^H4550, the cloud ^H6051 of the LORD ^H3068 was on the tabernacle ^H4908 by day ^H3119, and there was fire ^H784 in it by night ^H3915, in the sight ^H5869 of all ^H3605 the house ^H1004 of Israel ^H3478.
