Dear BLB User,
Much has changed for Blue Letter Bible over the last 20 years. We have grown exponentially from our humble beginnings. God has truly blessed our efforts to bring powerful tools for an in-depth study of His Word through our free online reference library, with study tools grounded in the historical, conservative Christian faith.
Beyond the resources we�ve been able to make available to the world for free, our biggest change was an internal one. On November 1, 2015, Blue Letter Bible began operating as its own 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. Since 1997, Blue Letter Bible had been operating under the ministry umbrella of Sowing Circle, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, private, religious foundation.
For the first fifteen years of Blue Letter Bible�s history, Sowing Circle generously provided substantially all of the financial support needed to create, maintain and expand this ministry. Over the last few years, financial support from BLB users has been growing on a solid path toward sustaining its operations going forward; thus, Blue Letter Bible has now become a distinct ministry of its own. Although Sowing Circle will continue to provide some funding for Blue Letter Bible, today more than ever, we depend on the gifts of support from individual partners to help sustain and grow the ministry.
About one-tenth of one-percent of our users support BLB financially. That�s likely because most of our users are unaware that our very existence is dependent on the support we receive from our users. If BLB and its many study tools have been a blessing to you, we humbly ask you to prayerfully consider a gift today; and should God lead you to do so, we thank you in advance for your generosity. The Blue Letter Bible ministry and the BLB Institute hold to the historical, conservative Christian faith, which includes a firm belief in the inerrancy of Scripture. Since the text and audio content provided by BLB represent a range of evangelical traditions, all of the ideas and principles conveyed in the resource materials are not necessarily affirmed, in total, by this ministry.
