Features

How do I download a Bible for offline use?

1. Tap on the menu icon in the upper-left side of the screen.
2. Select the menu item that says 'My Bibles'
3. If a Bible is available for download, it will have a green circle icon located at the bottom right of its panel.
4. Tap on the icon to begin your download.
5. A confirmation dialog box will open, tap 'OK'.
6. Once the download is complete, the selected translation will appear under the 'Primary' and 'Parallel' tabs.

*Note: A WiFi or mobile data connection is required to download Bible translations.
**Note: Although Bible translations are fairly small, if you download over a cellular mobile connection this download may count against your mobile carrier's bandwidth quota, if applicable.

How do I remove a downloaded Bible?

1. Tap on the menu icon in the upper-left side of the screen.
2. Select the menu item that says 'My Bibles'
3. Tap on the left-most tab labeled 'Primary'.
4. If a Bible has been downloaded and installed, it will have a trashcan icon located at the bottom right of its panel.
5. Tap on the icon to remove your downloaded Bible.
6. A confirmation dialog box will open, tap 'Remove'.
7. Once removed, the translation will no longer be usable off-line until re-downloaded. It is still available as an on-line Bible.

*Note: The KJV translation cannot be removed.

How do I show / hide side by side translations?

1. Tap on the MENU icon in the upper-left side of the screen.
2. Select the menu item that says 'MY BIBLES'
3. Tap on the left-most tab lableled 'PRIMARY'.
4. Tap on the Bible translation you would like to appear on the LEFT side.
5. Tap on the left-most tab lableled 'PARALLEL'.
6. Tap on the Bible translation you would like to appear on the RIGHT side.
7. Tap on the HOME icon in the upper-right of the screen. (Or use your device's [BACK] button)
8. You should now see both of your selected translations side-by-side.

*Note: To exit parallel mode, simply tap on the currently selected translation in the 'PARALLEL' tab, then tap the HOME icon in the upper-right of the screen. (Or use your device's [BACK] button)

How do I search for a word or phrase in the Bible?

1. Tap on the MENU icon in the upper-left side of the screen.
2. Select the menu item that says 'SEARCH', under the 'FEATURES' section.
3. Select your preferred translation to search (E.g. KVJ, NKJV, etc...) at the top-right of the screen.
4. Type in the word or phrase you would like to find in the field labeled 'Verse or Word(s)' at top-left of the screen.
5. From your phone or tablets on-screen keyboard, tap the button labeled "GO" or containing a magnifying glass.

How can I find commentaries, dictionary entries, etc. for a verse?

• Simply tap on any verse and a menu will open on the right side of the screen.
• Select 'INTERLINEAR' for additional information on the original Greek and/or Hebrew for the verse
• Select 'COMPARE TRANSLATIONS' to see a comparisons of available translations for the verse
• Select 'CROSS-REFERENCES' to see a list of related verses and information from the Treasury of Scripture Knowledge.
• Select 'COMMENTARIES' to browse the available text commentaries by author, relating to the verse.
• Select 'DICTIONARIES' for additional insight on terms and concepts in the verse from the available library of Bible Dictionaries.

Customization

How do I make the text bigger?

1. Tap on the MENU icon in the upper-left side of the screen.
2. Select the menu item that says 'SETTINGS', under the 'SETTINGS' section.
3. Under the FONT / TEXT section you will see a slider for Font Size.
4. Higher values (right) will make the text larger, lower values (right) will make the text smaller.
5. When finished, tap on the HOME icon in the upper-right of the screen. (Or use your device's [BACK] button)

How do I cutomize my highlighter colors?

1. Simply tap on any verse and a menu will open on the right side of the screen.
2. Scroll down (if needed) until you see the list of available highlight colors.
3. Tap and hold on a highlight color and a dialog box will appear allowing you to change the color of that highlight by sliding the selection circle around the color wheel.
4. The selected color is shown in the middle of the color wheel.
5. Once you are satisfied with your color selection, click UPDATE.
6. If you would like DELETE the highlight you are editing, simply click DELETE.

*Note: You can also scroll to the bottom and select "Create New HighLight" to add an additional highlight color and label.

How do I make custom labels for my highlight colors?

1. Simply tap on any verse and a menu will open on the right side of the screen.
2. Scroll down (if needed) until you see the list of available highlight colors.
3. Tap and hold on a highlight color and a dialog box will appear allowing you to change the name of that highlight.
4. Tap on the label field at the top of the window, and use your on-screen keyboard to modify the label as desired.
5. Once you are satisfied with your new label, click UPDATE.
6. If you would like DELETE the highlight you are editing, simply click DELETE.

*Note: You can also scroll to the bottom and select "Create New HighLight" to add an additional highlight color and label.

How do I show / hide the footnotes?

1. Tap on the MENU icon in the upper-left side of the screen.
2. Select the menu item that says 'SETTINGS', under the 'SETTINGS' section.
3. Under the FONT / TEXT section you will see an ON / OFF switch for Footnotes (you may need to scroll down).
4. When finished, tap on the HOME icon in the upper-right of the screen. (Or use your device's [BACK] button)
