It is our great pleasure to introduce you to a special friend who has been using the Blue Letter Bible study resources for over six years. Pam Larson, from Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis, is not just a user of BLB herself, but she personally introduces hundreds of others to our free online study tools. Pam is a devoted wife and busy mother of four, who recently stepped into the position of Interim Director of Women�s Ministry at her church�which enrolls 300 to 400 women each year in Bible study.
Pam teaches the Precept Upon Precept Bible study, taking students through the Bible book-by-book, verse-by-verse, using the inductive Bible study method. She told us,
“Blue Letter Bible is perfectly designed to facilitate the inductive style of study.”
Several times a year, Pam teaches women in her classes how to use Blue Letter Bible. She encourages students to utilize the �word and verse� search tool, as well as the �copy and paste� feature, to expedite the copious number of Bible verses they review each week. One of Pam�s favorite BLB resources is the Lexicon (Interlinear & Reverse Interlinear) for Greek and Hebrew research. She loves to immerse herself in God�s Word, mining the precious riches of Scripture, and is thankful that BLB makes this process easy.
We were excited and blessed to get to know this sweet sister in the faith. We rejoiced to learn how God has extended the influence of Blue Letter Bible into her church�s counseling department, and beyond there into the mission fields of the Philippine Islands, where Pam took copies of the BLB CD to people who have no Internet access.
When we hear stories like Pam�s, we are reminded of Jesus� instructions in Matthew 28:19-20,
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations�teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”
We are truly humbled at the way God is using the Blue Letter Bible ministry to advance His Kingdom.
