    1. What shall we say then about God’s election of Jacob and God’s condemnation of Esau?
    2. Is God unrighteous for electing Jacob and condemning Esau without respect to works? God forbid!
    3. God’s righteousness declared
      1. God’s mercy is His to give or withhold
      2. God’s compassion is His to give or withhold
      3. God asserts His will as he pleases
    4. Salvation is not given because of human effort or will – works
    5. Salvation is based on God’s sovereign grace only
    6. God cannot be judged by man
