The Bible Says
创世记 26:26-33 含义

亚比米勒带着他的谋士亚户撒和他军队的元帅非各从基拉耳来见以撒时,非利士人与以撒之间的紧张关系达到了顶峰(第26节)。创世记26:26揭示了以撒在迦南西南部靠近古埃及边境地区日益增长的影响力。亚比米勒很可能是一位拥有王朝名称的非利士国王,大约生活在公元前二千年初,他的来访反映了他试图通过外交手段进行外交活动。但当时这种努力尚未实现。以撒谨慎地问道: “你既然恨我,又打发我离开你,为什么到我这里来呢?”(第27节)这种对过去紧张关系的坦诚承认为和解铺平了道路,也进一步凸显了谦卑的品格,这将丰富以撒的遗产。

我会祝福你,
使你的名被尊崇;
这样,你们就必成为别人的祝福;
为你祝福的人,我必赐福与他。
咒骂你的人,我必咒骂他。
地上的万族都要因你得福。”

以撒渴望建立友好关系,便为宾客摆设筵席他为他们摆设筵席,他们就吃喝(30节)。以撒亚比米勒和平相处的故事,恰好预示了耶稣呼召信徒成为和平缔造者(马太福音5:9)。在这个故事中,真正的和谐源于共享的晚餐和誓言:次日清早,他们起来互相起誓,以撒打发他们走,他们就平平安安地离开他走了(31节)。

不久之后,祝福继续涌流到以撒身上:当天,以撒的仆人来告诉他,他们挖了井,说:“我们得了水了”(32节)。这一发现确保了以撒一家和他周围的人有水可吃。为了表示感谢,他给这井起名叫示巴;因此,这城名叫别是巴,直到今日(33节)。别是位于应许之地亚伯拉罕的南部,成为后世子孙生命的源泉,象征性地,也确实地,再次确认了这约。
