创世记 28:1-5 含义

亚伯拉罕应许之子以撒,在这重要的篇章中,以明确的指示开启了他儿子雅各的旅程。创世记28:1记载: “以撒叫了雅各来,给他祝福,并嘱咐他说:‘你不要娶迦南的女子为妻。’” (第1节)通过强调禁止与当地迦南人通婚的限制,以撒维护了上帝之约所确立的属灵血统。这强调了一个后来被呼应的原则,即鼓励信徒与那些同样敬拜上帝的人联合(哥林多后书6:14)。

此外,以撒祈求雅各和他的后裔继承亚伯拉罕所传的神圣之约: 愿上帝将亚伯拉罕的福赐给你和你的后裔,使你承受你现在寄居的地,就是上帝赐给亚伯拉罕的地。”(第4节)这句经文将雅各与始于公元前2166年左右亚伯拉罕的谱系无缝衔接。亚伯拉罕的祝福带来了上帝圣约的应许,包括土地和子孙后代的保证,最终汇聚成通往耶稣的谱系(见马太福音1:1-2)。

以撒完成指示和祝福后,打发雅各前往巴旦亚兰以撒打发雅各走了,他就往巴旦亚兰去,到拉班那里。拉班是亚兰人彼土利的儿子,是雅各和以扫的母亲利百加的哥哥(第5节)。这段旅程描绘了雅各的人生轨迹,标志着上帝救赎历史中的一个关键转折点。住在美索不达米亚的拉班等候着雅各的到来,上帝通过这段旅程塑造了雅各的性格,并履行了祂的圣约承诺。
