耶和华再次对摩西说话（第 23 节）。这是另一个适用于利未人的话题。耶和华规定，从二十五岁起，他们必须进入会幕服务（第 24 节）。因此，利未人直到 25 岁才能在会幕中工作。从那时开始，他们就开始积极服务。
