诗篇119篇25-32节恳求神赐予他力量，他呼求说：“我的心贴近尘土；求你照你的话使我复苏” （25节）。他向主坦白承认： “我述说了我的行径，你应允了我；求你将你的律例教训我” （26节），展现出一颗谦卑的心，不掩饰自己的过犯和挣扎。这种坦诚提醒所有信徒，要转向神的指示，深信祂垂听祷告，并在灵性干渴时指引方向。
