诗篇 35 是大卫向耶和华的祷告，恳求耶和华拯救他脱离那些不公正地寻求毁灭大卫的敌人。这节经文是诗人大卫对诗篇 35 的第三次赞美。它也是整篇诗篇的结束。

大卫以赞美的承诺结束了他的诗篇。
我的舌头要宣扬你的公义
并终日赞美祢（第 28 节）。
他承诺要加入那些不断说“当尊耶和华为大” (诗篇 35:27) 的人的合唱。
我的舌头要宣告-这句话的意思是，大卫将通过言语或歌曲说出祢的公义。他不仅会在心里宣告，还会公开表达出来。
在他个人对上帝的赞美中，请注意，尽管大卫已被证明是正直的，符合耶和华的公义（诗篇 35：24，27），但他并没有宣扬自己的公义。相反，他的舌头要宣扬祢（耶和华）的公义。大卫的目标是遵循上帝的方式，而不是坚持让上帝遵循他的方式并合理化自己的行为。这是大卫的心反映出他合乎上帝心意的一种方式，这也是上帝选择大卫做他子民的王的主要原因（撒母耳记上 13：14）。
大卫承诺要终日宣扬对你（主）的赞美。
换句话说，耶和华的公义将成为大卫终日谈论的话题和主题。大卫谈论最多的就是耶和华的公义。
有趣的是，诗篇 35 的最后表达与诗篇 34 的第一部分表达相似，
“我要时时称颂耶和华；
赞美他的事必常在我的口中。”
(诗篇 34:1)
大卫对诗篇 35 的总结与其说是弥赛亚的预言，不如说是敬拜主的邀请。愿我们的舌头也宣告祂的公义，并在我们终日的言谈中赞美祂。
