Psalm 74:22-23 Meaning

When the psalmist proclaims, Arise, O God, and plead Your own cause; Remember how the foolish man reproaches You all day long (v. 22), he calls upon the Lord to step forward and defend His divine reputation. The writer, identified elsewhere as Asaph, was a Levite musician serving during the reign of King David.
