Temos aqui uma nova separação, o dia da noite.
Pois, o mesmo Deus que disse: "A luz brilhará das trevas" é Aquele que brilhou em nossos corações para dar a Luz do conhecimento da glória de Deus na face de Cristo (2 Coríntios 4:6). Eventualmente, a obra redentora de Deus será demonstrada na era vindoura, quando não mais haverá trevas. E não haverá mais noite e eles não precisarão da luz de uma lâmpada nem da luz do sol, porque o Senhor Deus os iluminará e eles reinarão para todo o sempre (Apocalipse 22:5).
O maior dos luminares é o sol e a luz menor é a lua. Eles governam o dia e a noite, respectivamente. A Bíblia diz que os céus proclamam a glória de Deus. Os céus exibem Sua habilidade (Salmo 19:1). Em Romanos, Paulo explica: Pois, desde a criação do mundo, Seus atributos invisíveis, Seu poder eterno e natureza divina, são claramente vistos, sendo compreendidos através das coisas criadas, de modo que não eles são indesculpáveis (Romanos 1:20). A incrível criação de Deus mostra claramente seu poder eterno e sua natureza divina.
