How to See More Pages of the Search

Choose a new font size and typeface

1. Frequently the question arises after a search has been made, "How do I see the rest of the verses?" Following is a brief tutorial explaining how to navigate to further sections of one's search results. We will start out with a word search for "Jesus" from the homepage (http://www.blueletterbible.org).

2. On the results page, we can see that "Jesus" occurs in 942 verses; this is a lot to display on one page.

3. So, you will see if you scroll to the bottom of the results, we have divided the content onto 19 separate pages. Immediately below the title "Search Results Continued...", you will find links to each of these 19 pages of verses contain the word "Jesus." The number of the page is followed immediately by the verse range in which the reference falls; for example, all the references on page five "5" occur between Mar 8:17-Mar 14:53.

The Blue Letter Bible ministry and the BLB Institute hold to the historical, conservative Christian faith, which includes a firm belief in the inerrancy of Scripture. Since the text and audio content provided by BLB represent a range of evangelical traditions, all of the ideas and principles conveyed in the resource materials are not necessarily affirmed, in total, by this ministry.
