Brewer trained for a career in commerce, but instead became a congregational minister instead. He began preaching at 22 years of age, and pastored at Rodborough, Gloucestershire; Sheffield (1783); Carr’s Lane Chapel, Birmingham (1798); and the Livery Street Chapel, Birmingham. A memoir of him appeared in the Evangelical Register, 1835.
Hymns:
The Blue Letter Bible ministry and the BLB Institute hold to the historical, conservative Christian faith, which includes a firm belief in the inerrancy of Scripture. Since the text and audio content provided by BLB represent a range of evangelical traditions, all of the ideas and principles conveyed in the resource materials are not necessarily affirmed, in total, by this ministry.
