These are the family records of Shem. Shem lived 100 years and fathered Arpachshad two years after the flood.
So Abram went, as the LORD had told him, and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he left Haran.

Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Nehushta daughter of Elnathan; she was from Jerusalem.
After this, Hezron slept with the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead. Hezron had married her when he was sixty years old, and she bore Segub to him.

This fulfilled the word of the LORD through Jeremiah, and the land enjoyed its Sabbath rest all the days of the desolation until seventy years were fulfilled.
Make us rejoice for as many days as you have humbled us,
for as many years as we have seen adversity.
