LXX Concordance for ἀπήγγειλεν

Saul told him, “He assured us the donkeys had been found.” However, Saul did not tell him what Samuel had said about the matter of kingship.

That same day Saul's son Jonathan said to the attendant who carried his weapons, “Come on, let's cross over to the Philistine garrison on the other side.” However, he did not tell his father.

so he told him, “My father, Saul, intends to kill you. Be on your guard in the morning and hide in a secret place and stay there.

So Jonathan summoned David and told him all these words. Then Jonathan brought David to Saul, and he served him as he did before.

Saul sent agents to David's house to watch for him and kill him in the morning. But his wife Michal warned David, “If you don't escape tonight, you will be dead tomorrow! ”

Abiathar told David that Saul had killed the priests of the LORD.

One of Nabal's young men informed Abigail, Nabal's wife, “Look, David sent messengers from the wilderness to greet our master, but he screamed at them.

Then she said to her male servants, “Go ahead of me. I will be right behind you.” But she did not tell her husband, Nabal.

Then Abigail went to Nabal, and there he was in his house, holding a feast fit for a king. Nabal's heart was cheerful,[fn] and he was very drunk, so she didn't say anything[fn] to him until morning light.

The woman conceived and sent word to inform David, “I am pregnant.”

Joab sent someone to report to David all the details of the battle.

Then the messenger left.

When he arrived, he reported to David all that Joab had sent him to tell.

Meanwhile, Absalom had fled. When the young man who was standing watch looked up, there were many people coming from the road west of him from the side of the mountain.[fn]

Joab went to the king and told him. So David summoned Absalom, who came to the king and paid homage with his face to the ground before him. Then the king kissed Absalom.

However, a young man did see them and informed Absalom. So the two left quickly and came to the house of a man in Bahurim. He had a well in his courtyard, and they climbed down into it.

He called out and told the king.

The king said, “If he's alone, he bears good news.”

So Solomon answered all her questions; nothing was too difficult for the king to explain to her.

Obadiah went to meet Ahab and told him. Then Ahab went to meet Elijah.

She went and told the man of God, and he said, “Go sell the oil and pay your debt; you and your sons can live on the rest.”

So Naaman went and told his master what the girl from the land of Israel had said.

So a horseman went to meet Jehu and said, “This is what the king asks: ‘Do you come in peace? ' ”

Jehu replied, “What do you have to do with peace? Fall in behind me.”

The watchman reported, “The messenger reached them but hasn't started back.”

Again the watchman reported, “He reached them but hasn't started back. Also, the driving is like that of Jehu son of Nimshi ​— ​he drives like a madman.”

When the messenger came and told him, “They have brought the heads of the king's sons,” the king said, “Pile them in two heaps at the entrance of the city gate until morning.”

So Solomon answered all her questions; nothing was too difficult for Solomon to explain to her.

Then the court secretary Shaphan told the king, “The priest Hilkiah gave me a book,” and Shaphan read from it in the presence of the king.

Esther's response was reported to Mordecai.

They found the written report of how Mordecai had informed on Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king's eunuchs who guarded the entrance, when they planned to assassinate King Ahasuerus.

Then the men were seized by a great fear and said to him, “What have you done? ” The men knew he was fleeing from the LORD's presence because he had told them.
