So he touched her hand, and the fever left her. Then she got up and began to serve him.
After the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took her by the hand, and the girl got up.
“This is John the Baptist,” he told his servants. “He has been raised from the dead, and that's why miraculous powers are at work in him.”
“So give orders that the tomb be made secure until the third day. Otherwise, his disciples may come, steal him, and tell the people, ‘He has been raised from the dead,' and the last deception will be worse than the first.”
“He is not here. For he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.
“Then go quickly and tell his disciples, ‘He has risen from the dead and indeed he is going ahead of you to Galilee; you will see him there.' Listen, I have told you.”
Immediately he got up, took the mat, and went out in front of everyone. As a result, they were all astounded and gave glory to God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this! ”
“Don't be alarmed,” he told them. “You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they put him.
Herod the tetrarch heard about everything that was going on. He was perplexed, because some said that John had been raised from the dead,
“He is not here, but he has risen! Remember how he spoke to you when he was still in Galilee,
So when he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this, and they believed the Scripture and the statement Jesus had made.
Saul got up from the ground, and though his eyes were open, he could see nothing. So they took him by the hand and led him into Damascus.
