For from Zion ^H6726 will go ^H3318 forth ^H3318 the law ^H8451,

And the word ^H1697 of the LORD ^H3068 from Jerusalem ^H3389.

“[fn]But as for you, Bethlehem ^H1035 Ephrathah ^H672,

Too little ^H6810 to be among the clans ^H505 of Judah ^H3063,

From you One will come ^H3318 forth ^H3318 for Me to be ruler ^H4910 in Israel ^H3478.

His times ^H4163 of ^H4163 coming ^H4163 forth ^H4163 are from long ^H6924 ago ^H6924,

From the days ^H3117 of eternity ^H5769.”

From you has gone ^H3318 out ^H3318

One who plotted ^H2803 evil ^H7451 against ^H5921 the LORD ^H3068,

A [fn]wicked ^H1100 counselor ^H3289.

Therefore ^H5921 H3651 the Law ^H8451 [fn]is ignored ^H6313,

And justice ^H4941 [fn]is never ^H3808 H5331 upheld ^H3318.

For the wicked ^H7563 surround ^H3803 the righteous ^H6662;

“They are terrifying ^H366 and feared ^H3372;

Before ^H6440 Him goes ^H1980 plague ^H1698,

Then the LORD ^H3068 will appear ^H7200 over ^H5921 them,

And His arrow ^H2671 will go ^H3318 forth ^H3318 like lightning ^H1300;

And on that day ^H3117 living ^H2416 waters ^H4325 will flow ^H3318 out ^H3318 of Jerusalem ^H3389, half ^H2677 of them toward ^H413 the eastern ^H6931 sea ^H3220 and the other half ^H2677 toward ^H413 the western ^H314 sea ^H3220; it will be in summer ^H7019 as well as in winter ^H2779.
