LXX Concordance for εὕρῃ

“I have oxen, donkeys, flocks, and male and female slaves. I have sent this message to inform my lord, in order to seek your favor.' ”

So Esau said, “What do you mean by this whole procession[fn] I met? ”

“To find favor with you, my lord,” he answered.

“When a fire gets out of control, spreads to thornbushes, and consumes stacks of cut grain, standing grain, or a field, the one who started the fire must make full restitution for what was burned.

“If an alien or temporary resident living among you prospers, but your brother living near him becomes destitute and sells himself to the alien living among you, or to a member of the resident alien's clan,

“These are the instructions about the Nazirite who vows his offering to the LORD for his consecration, in addition to whatever else he can afford; he must fulfill whatever vow he makes in keeping with the instructions for his consecration.”

“and the avenger of blood finds him outside the border of his city of refuge and kills him, the avenger will not be guilty of bloodshed,

“But if the man encounters an engaged woman in the open country, and he seizes and rapes her, only the man who raped her must die.

“If a man encounters a young woman, a virgin who is not engaged, takes hold of her and rapes her, and they are discovered,

“If a man marries a woman, but she becomes displeasing to him because he finds something indecent about her, he may write her a divorce certificate, hand it to her, and send her away from his house.

“Then get up early, and at sunrise attack the city. When he and the troops who are with him come out against you, do to him whatever you can.”

The man left the town of Bethlehem in Judah to stay wherever he could find a place. On his way he came to Micah's home in the hill country of Ephraim.

“When these signs have happened to you, do whatever your circumstances require[fn] because God is with you.

saying, “Don't be afraid, for my father Saul will never lay a hand on you. You yourself will be king over Israel, and I'll be your second-in-command. Even my father Saul knows it is true.”

“Ask your young men, and they will tell you. So let my young men find favor with you, for we have come on a feast[fn] day. Please give whatever you have on hand to your servants and to your son David.' ”

So David said to Abishai, “Sheba son of Bichri will do more harm to us than Absalom. Take your lord's soldiers and pursue him, or he will find fortified cities and elude us.”[fn]

Many people gathered and stopped up all the springs and the stream that flowed through the land; they said, “Why should the kings of Assyria come and find abundant water? ”

He has made everything appropriate[fn] in its time. He has also put eternity in their hearts,[fn] but no one can discover the work God has done from beginning to end.

In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity, consider: God has made the one as well as the other, so that no one can discover anything that will come after him.

Whatever your hands find to do, do with all your strength, because there is no work, planning, knowledge, or wisdom in Sheol where you are going.

Now a poor wise man was found in the city, and he delivered the city by his wisdom. Yet no one remembered that poor man.

Therefore, this is what I will do:

I will block her[fn] way with thorns;

I will enclose her with a wall,

so that she cannot find her paths.
