because the law[fn] of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you[fn] free from the law[fn] of sin and death.

You, however, are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to him.

Now if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit[fn] gives life[fn] because of righteousness.

And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, then he who raised Christ from the dead will also bring your mortal bodies to life through[fn] his Spirit who lives in you.

and if children, also heirs ​— ​heirs of God and coheirs with Christ ​— ​if indeed we suffer with him so that we may also be glorified with him.

Who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is the one who died, but even more, has been raised; he also is at the right hand of God and intercedes for us.

Who can separate us from the love of Christ? Can affliction or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?

nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

For I could wish that I myself were cursed and cut off[fn] from Christ for the benefit of my brothers and sisters, my own flesh and blood.

The ancestors are theirs, and from them, by physical descent,[fn] came the Christ, who is God over all, praised forever.[fn] Amen.

But the righteousness that comes from faith speaks like this: Do not say in your heart, “Who will go up to heaven? ” that is, to bring Christ down

For if your brother or sister is hurt by what you eat, you are no longer walking according to love. Do not destroy, by what you eat, someone for whom Christ died.

Whoever serves Christ in this way is acceptable to God and receives human approval.

Now may the God who gives[fn] endurance and encouragement grant you to live in harmony with one another, according to Christ Jesus,

so that you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ with one mind and one voice.

Therefore welcome one another, just as[fn] Christ also welcomed you, to the glory of God.

For I say that Christ became a servant of the circumcised[fn] on behalf of God’s truth, to confirm the promises to the fathers,

to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, serving as a priest of the gospel of God. God’s purpose is that the Gentiles may be an acceptable offering, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

Therefore I have reason to boast in Christ Jesus regarding what pertains to God.

For I would not dare say anything except what Christ has accomplished through me by word and deed for the obedience of the Gentiles,

by the power of miraculous signs and wonders, and by the power of God’s Spirit. As a result, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum.[fn]

My aim is to preach the gospel where Christ has not been named, so that I will not build on someone else’s foundation,

I know that when I come to you, I will come in the fullness of the blessing[fn] of Christ.

Now I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, through our Lord Jesus Christ and through the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in prayers to God on my behalf.

Greet also the church that meets in their home. Greet my dear friend Epaenetus, who is the first convert[fn] to Christ from Asia.[fn]

Greet Andronicus and Junia, my fellow Jews[fn] and fellow prisoners. They are noteworthy in the eyes of the apostles,[fn] and they were also in Christ before me.

Greet Urbanus, our coworker in Christ, and my dear friend Stachys.

Greet Apelles, who is approved in Christ. Greet those who belong to the household of Aristobulus.

Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the churches of Christ send you greetings.

because such people do not serve our Lord Christ but their own appetites.[fn] They deceive the hearts of the unsuspecting with smooth talk and flattering words.

Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the proclamation about Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept silent for long ages

to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ ​— ​to him be the glory forever![fn] Amen.

To the church of God at Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called as saints, with all those in every place who call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord ​— ​both their Lord and ours.
