Strong's Number G1522 matches the Greek εἰσακούω (eisakouō),
which occurs 10 times in 10 verses in 'Isa'
in the LXX Greek.
“When you spread out your hands in prayer,
I will refuse to look at you;
even if you offer countless prayers,
I will not listen.
Your hands are covered with blood.
“But if you refuse and rebel,
you will be devoured by the sword.”
For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.
The LORD will strike Egypt, striking and healing. Then they will turn to the LORD, and he will be receptive to their prayers and heal them.
“Perhaps the LORD your God will hear all the words of the royal spokesman, whom his master the king of Assyria sent to mock the living God, and will rebuke him for the words that the LORD your God has heard. Therefore offer a prayer for the surviving remnant.’ ”
Listen closely, LORD, and hear; open your eyes, LORD, and see. Hear all the words that Sennacherib has sent to mock the living God.
“They lift it to their shoulder and bear it along;
