Bezalel and Oholiab

1 And Yahweh ^H3068 spoke ^H1696 to Moses ^H4872, saying ^H559,

2 “See ^H7200, I have called ^H7121 by name ^H8034 Bezalel ^H1212, the son ^H1121 of Uri ^H221, the son ^H1121 of Hur ^H2354, of the tribe ^H4294 of Judah ^H3063. 3 And I have filled ^H4390 him with the Spirit ^H7307 of God ^H430 in wisdom ^H2451, in discernment ^H8394, in knowledge ^H1847, and in all ^H3605 kinds of [fn]craftsmanship ^H4399, 4 to devise ^H2803 artistic designs ^H4284 for work ^H6213 in gold ^H2091, in silver ^H3701, and in [fn]bronze ^H5178, 5 and in the cutting ^H2799 of stones ^H68 [fn]for settings ^H4390, and in the carving ^H2799 of wood ^H6086, in order for him to work ^H6213 in all ^H3605 kinds of [fn]craftsmanship ^H4399. 6 And behold ^H2009, I Myself ^H589 have [fn]appointed ^H5414 with him Oholiab ^H171, the son ^H1121 of Ahisamach ^H294, of the tribe ^H4294 of Dan ^H1835; and in the hearts ^H3820 of all ^H3605 who are [fn]wise ^H2450 at heart ^H3820 I have put ^H5414 [fn]wisdom ^H2451, that they may make ^H6213 all ^H3605 that I have commanded ^H6680 you: 7 the tent ^H168 of meeting ^H4150, and the ark ^H727 of testimony ^H5715, and the [fn]mercy ^H3727 seat ^H3727 upon it, and all ^H3605 the furniture ^H3627 of the tent ^H168, 8 the table ^H7979 also and its [fn]utensils ^H3627, and the pure ^H2889 gold lampstand ^H4501 with all ^H3605 its [fn]utensils ^H3627, and the altar ^H4196 of incense ^H7004, 9 the altar ^H4196 of burnt ^H5930 offering ^H5930 also with all ^H3605 its [fn]utensils ^H3627, and the laver ^H3595 and its stand ^H3653, 10 the [fn]woven ^H8278 garments ^H899 as well, and the holy ^H6944 garments ^H899 for Aaron ^H175 the priest ^H3548, and the garments ^H899 of his sons ^H1121, with which to minister ^H3547 as ^H3547 priests ^H3547; 11 the anointing ^H4888 oil ^H8081 also, and the fragrant ^H5561 incense ^H7004 for the holy ^H6944 place, they shall make ^H6213 them according to all ^H3605 that I have commanded ^H6680 you.”

The Sign of the Sabbath

12 Yahweh ^H3068 spoke ^H559 to Moses ^H4872, saying ^H559,

13 “But as for you, speak ^H1696 to the sons ^H1121 of Israel ^H3478, saying ^H559, ‘You shall surely ^H389 keep ^H8104 My sabbaths ^H7676; for this is a sign ^H226 between ^H996 Me and you throughout your generations ^H1755, that you may know ^H3045 that I am Yahweh ^H3068 who makes ^H6942 you holy ^H6942. 14 Therefore you shall keep ^H8104 the sabbath ^H7676, for it is holy ^H6944 to you. Everyone who profanes ^H2490 it shall surely ^H4191 be put ^H4191 to ^H4191 death ^H4191; for whoever ^H3605 does ^H6213 any ^H3605 work ^H4399 on it, that person ^H5315 shall be cut ^H3772 off ^H3772 from among ^H7130 his people ^H5971. 15 Six ^H8337 days ^H3117 work ^H4399 may be done ^H6213, but on the seventh ^H7637 day ^H3117 there is a sabbath ^H7676 of complete ^H7677 rest ^H7677, holy ^H6944 to Yahweh ^H3068; whoever ^H3605 does ^H6213 any ^H3605 work ^H4399 on the sabbath ^H7676 day ^H3117 shall surely ^H4191 be put ^H4191 to ^H4191 death ^H4191. 16 So the sons ^H1121 of Israel ^H3478 shall keep ^H8104 the sabbath ^H7676, to [fn]celebrate ^H6213 the sabbath ^H7676 throughout their generations ^H1755 as an everlasting ^H5769 covenant ^H1285.’ 17 It is a sign ^H226 between ^H996 Me and the sons ^H1121 of Israel ^H3478 forever ^H5769; for in six ^H8337 days ^H3117 Yahweh ^H3068 made ^H6213 heaven ^H8064 and earth ^H776, but on the seventh ^H7637 day ^H3117 He rested ^H7673 and was refreshed ^H5314.”

18 When He had finished ^H3615 speaking ^H1696 with him upon Mount ^H2022 Sinai ^H5514, He gave ^H5414 Moses ^H4872 the two ^H8147 tablets ^H3871 of the testimony ^H5715, tablets ^H3871 of stone ^H68, written ^H3789 by the finger ^H676 of God ^H430.
