A Lament for the Princes of Israel

4 ‘Then nations H1471 heard H8085 about H413 him;
He was captured H8610 in their pit H7845,
And they brought H935 him with hooks H2397
To the land H776 of Egypt H4714.

13 ‘So now H6258 it is planted H8362 in the wilderness H4057,
In a dry H6723 and thirsty H6772 land H776.
14 ‘And fire H784 has gone H3318 out H3318 from its thick H4294 branch H4294;
It has consumed H398 its shoots H909 and fruit H6529,
So that there is not in it a [fn]strong H5797 thick H4294 branch H4294,
A scepter H7626 to rule H4910.’”
This H1931 is a lamentation H7015 and has become H1961 a lamentation H7015.
