Yahweh’s Anger Turns Away from Israel
1 [fn]Return H7725, O Israel H3478, to Yahweh H3068 your God H430,
For you have stumbled H3782 in your iniquity H5771.
2 Take H3947 words H1697 with you and return H7725 to Yahweh H3068.
Say H559 to Him, “Forgive H5375 all H3605 iniquity H5771
And [fn]take H3947 what is good H2896,
That we may pay H7999 in full H7999 [fn]the fruit H6529 of our lips H8193.
3 “Assyria H804 will not save H3467 us;
We will not ride H7392 on horses H5483,
Nor H3808 will we say H559 again H5750, ‘Our god H430,’
To the work H4639 of our hands H3027;
For in You the [fn]orphan H3490 finds H7355 compassion H7355.”
4 I will heal H7495 their turning H4878 away from Me;
