The Seven Seals

1 Then ^G2532 I looked ^G3708 when ^G3753 the Lamb ^G721 opened ^G455 one ^G1520 of the seven ^G2033 seals ^G4973, and I heard ^G191 one ^G1520 of the four ^G5064 living ^G2226 creatures ^G2226 saying ^G3004 as with a voice ^G5456 of thunder ^G1027, “[fn]Come ^G2064.”

2 Then I looked ^G3708, and behold ^G2400, a white ^G3022 horse ^G2462, and he who sits ^G2521 on it had ^G2192 a bow ^G5115; and a crown ^G4735 was given ^G1325 to him, and he went ^G1831 out ^G1831 overcoming ^G3528 and to overcome ^G3528.

3 And when ^G3753 He opened ^G455 the second ^G1208 seal ^G4973, I heard ^G191 the second ^G1208 living ^G2226 creature ^G2226 saying ^G3004, “Come ^G2064.” 4 And another ^G243, a red ^G4450 horse ^G2462, went ^G1831 out ^G1831; and to him who sits ^G2521 on it, it was given ^G1325 to him to take ^G2983 peace ^G1515 from the earth ^G1093, and that men would slay ^G4969 one ^G240 another ^G240; and a great ^G3173 sword ^G3162 was given ^G1325 to him.

5 And when ^G3753 He opened ^G455 the third ^G5154 seal ^G4973, I heard ^G191 the third ^G5154 living ^G2226 creature ^G2226 saying ^G3004, “Come ^G2064.” Then I looked ^G3708, and behold ^G2400, a black ^G3189 horse ^G2462; and he who sits ^G2521 on it had ^G2192 a pair ^G2218 of ^G2218 scales ^G2218 in his hand ^G5495. 6 And I heard ^G191 something like ^G5613 a voice ^G5456 in the midst ^G3319 of the four ^G5064 living ^G2226 creatures ^G2226 saying ^G3004, “One [fn]choinix ^G5518 of wheat ^G4621 for one [fn]denarius ^G1220, and three ^G5140 [fn]choinix ^G5518 of barley ^G2915 for one [fn]denarius ^G1220, and do not harm ^G91 the oil ^G1637 and the wine ^G3631.”

7 And when ^G3753 He opened ^G455 the fourth ^G5067 seal ^G4973, I heard ^G191 the voice ^G5456 of the fourth ^G5067 living ^G2226 creature ^G2226 saying ^G3004, “Come ^G2064.” 8 Then I looked ^G3708, and behold ^G2400, a pale ^G5515 horse ^G2462; and he who sits ^G2521 on it had the name ^G3686 Death ^G2288, and Hades ^G86 was following ^G190 with him. Authority ^G1849 was given ^G1325 to them over ^G1909 a fourth ^G5067 of the earth ^G1093, to kill ^G615 with sword ^G4501 and with famine ^G3042 and with [fn]pestilence ^G2288 and by the wild ^G2342 beasts ^G2342 of the earth ^G1093.

9 And when ^G3753 He opened ^G455 the fifth ^G3991 seal ^G4973, I saw ^G3708 underneath ^G5270 the altar ^G2379 the souls ^G5590 of those ^G3588 who had been slain ^G4969 because ^G1223 of the word ^G3056 of God ^G2316, and because ^G1223 of the witness ^G3141 which ^G3739 they had maintained ^G2192; 10 and they cried ^G2896 out ^G2896 with a loud ^G3173 voice ^G5456, saying ^G3004, “How ^G2193 long ^G2193 G4219, O Master ^G1203, holy ^G40 and true ^G228?
