The Promise of the Holy Spirit

The Ascension

9 And after He had said ^G3004 these ^G3778 things ^G3778, He was lifted ^G1869 up ^G1869 while they were looking ^G991 on, and a cloud ^G3507 received ^G5274 Him out of their sight ^G3788. 10 And as they were gazing ^G816 intently ^G816 into [fn]the sky ^G3772 while He was going ^G4198, behold ^G2400, two ^G1417 men ^G435 in white ^G3022 clothing ^G2067 stood ^G3936 beside ^G3936 them. 11 They also ^G2532 said ^G3004, “Men ^G435 of Galilee ^G1057, why ^G5101 do you stand ^G2476 looking ^G991 toward heaven ^G3772? Matthias Chosen to Replace Judas

12 Then ^G5119 they returned ^G5290 to Jerusalem ^G2419 from the [fn]mount ^G3735 called ^G2564 [fn]Olivet ^G1638, which ^G3739 is near ^G1451 Jerusalem ^G2419, a [fn]Sabbath ^G4521 day’s journey ^G3598 away.

and,

‘LET ANOTHER ^G2087 MAN ^G2087 TAKE ^G2983 HIS [fn]OFFICE ^G1984.’
