From [fn]Sela ^H5554 by way of the wilderness ^H4057 to the mountain ^H2022 of the daughter ^H1323 of Zion ^H6726.

2 Then, like [fn]fleeing ^H5074 birds ^H5775 or scattered ^H7971 [fn]nestlings ^H7064,

The daughters ^H1323 of Moab ^H4124 will be at the fords ^H4569 of the Arnon ^H769.

3 “Bring ^H935 us counsel ^H6098, make ^H6213 a decision ^H6415;

[fn]Cast ^H7896 your shadow ^H6738 like night ^H3915 [fn]at high ^H8432 noon ^H6672;

Hide ^H5641 those banished ^H5080, do not reveal ^H1540 the one who flees ^H5074.

4 “Let the [fn]banished ^H5080 of Moab ^H4124 sojourn ^H1481 with you;
