Will suddenly ^H6621 be broken ^H7665 [fn]beyond ^H369 healing ^H4832.

2 When the righteous ^H6662 [fn]increase ^H7235, the people ^H5971 are glad ^H8055,

But when a wicked ^H7563 man ^H7563 rules ^H4910, people ^H5971 groan ^H584.

3 A man ^H376 who loves ^H157 wisdom ^H2451 makes ^H8055 his father ^H1 glad ^H8055,

But he who befriends ^H7462 harlots ^H2181 destroys ^H6 his wealth ^H1952.

4 By justice ^H4941 the king ^H4428 causes ^H5975 the land ^H776 to stand ^H5975,

But a man ^H376 of bribes ^H8641 tears ^H2040 it down.

5 A man ^H1397 who flatters ^H2505 his neighbor ^H7453

Is spreading ^H6566 a net ^H7568 for his steps ^H6471.

6 By transgression ^H6588 an evil ^H7451 man ^H376 is ensnared ^H4170,

But the righteous ^H6662 sings ^H7442 with ^H7442 joy ^H7442 and is glad ^H8055.

7 The righteous ^H6662 knows ^H3045 the cause ^H1779 of the poor ^H1800,

The wicked ^H7563 does not understand ^H995 that knowledge ^H1847.

14 If a king ^H4428 judges ^H8199 the poor ^H1800 with truth ^H571,

His throne ^H3678 will be established ^H3559 forever ^H5703.

15 The rod ^H7626 and reproof ^H8433 give ^H5414 wisdom ^H2451,

16 When the wicked ^H7563 [fn]increase ^H7235, transgression ^H6588 increases ^H7235;

But the righteous ^H6662 will see ^H7200 their fall ^H4658.

17 Discipline ^H3256 your son ^H1121, and he will give ^H5117 you rest ^H5117;

And he will give delight ^H4574 to your soul ^H5315.

But how blessed ^H835 is he who keeps ^H8104 the law ^H8451.

19 A slave ^H5650 will not be corrected ^H3256 by words ^H1697 alone;

20 Do you behold ^H2372 a man ^H376 who is ^H213 hasty ^H213 in his words ^H1697?

But justice ^H4941 for man ^H376 comes from Yahweh ^H3068.

27 An unjust ^H5766 man ^H376 is an abomination ^H8441 to the righteous ^H6662,

And he who is upright ^H3477 in the way ^H1870 is an abomination ^H8441 to the wicked ^H7563.
