My Prayer as Incense Before You
A Psalm of David.
1 O Yahweh H3068, I call H7121 upon You; hasten H2363 to me!
Give H238 ear H238 to my voice H6963 when I call H7121 to You!
2 May my prayer H8605 be established H3559 as incense H7004 before H6440 You;
The lifting H4864 up of my hands H3709 as the evening H6153 offering H4503.
3 Set H7896 a guard H8108, O Yahweh H3068, [fn]over my mouth H6310;
Keep H5341 watch H5341 over H5921 the door H1800 of my lips H8193.
4 Do not incline H5186 my heart H3820 to any evil H7451 thing H1697,
To practice H5953 deeds H5953 in wickedness H7562
With men H376 who are workers H6466 of iniquity H205;
And do not let me eat H3898 of their delicacies H4516.
