Four Chariots

1 Then I lifted ^H5375 up ^H5375 my eyes ^H5869 again ^H7725 and saw ^H7200, and behold ^H2009, four ^H702 chariots ^H4818 were coming ^H3318 forth ^H3318 from between ^H996 the two ^H8147 mountains ^H2022; and the mountains ^H2022 were bronze ^H5178 mountains ^H2022.

2 With the first ^H7223 chariot ^H4818 were red ^H122 horses ^H5483, with the second ^H8145 chariot ^H4818 black ^H7838 horses ^H5483, 3 with the third ^H7992 chariot ^H4818 white ^H3836 horses ^H5483, and with the fourth ^H7243 chariot ^H4818 dappled ^H1261 horses ^H5483—all of them mighty ^H554. 4 Then I answered ^H6030 and said ^H559 to the angel ^H4397 who was speaking ^H1696 with me, “What ^H4100 are these ^H428, my lord ^H113?” 5 And the angel ^H4397 answered ^H6030 and said ^H559 to me, “These ^H428 are the four ^H702 spirits ^H7307 of heaven ^H8064, going ^H3318 forth ^H3318 after ^H4480 standing ^H3320 before ^H5921 the Lord ^H136 of all ^H3605 the earth ^H776, 6 with one of which ^H834 the black ^H7838 horses ^H5483 are going ^H3318 forth ^H3318 to the north ^H6828 country ^H776; and the white ^H3836 ones ^H3836 go ^H3318 forth ^H3318 after ^H413 H310 them, and the dappled ^H1261 ones ^H1261 go ^H3318 forth ^H3318 to the south ^H8486 country ^H776. 7 Now the mighty ^H554 ones ^H554 went ^H3318 out ^H3318, and they sought ^H1245 to go ^H1980 to [fn]patrol ^H1980 the earth ^H776.” And He said ^H559, “Go ^H1980, [fn]patrol ^H1980 the earth ^H776.” So they [fn]patrolled ^H1980 the earth ^H776. 8 Then He cried ^H2199 out ^H2199 to me and spoke ^H1696 to me saying ^H559, “See ^H7200, those who are going ^H3318 to the land ^H776 of the north ^H6828 have caused My Spirit ^H7307 to have rest ^H5117 in the land ^H776 of the north ^H6828.”

The Crown and the Temple

9 And the word ^H1697 of Yahweh ^H3068 came ^H1961 to me, saying ^H559,

10 “Take ^H3947 an offering from the exiles ^H1473, from Heldai ^H2469, Tobijah ^H2900, and Jedaiah ^H3048; and you come ^H935 the same ^H1931 day ^H3117 and come ^H935 into the house ^H1004 of Josiah ^H2977 the son ^H1121 of Zephaniah ^H6846, where ^H834 they have come ^H935 from Babylon ^H894. 11 And take ^H3947 silver ^H3701 and gold ^H2091, make ^H6213 an ornate crown ^H5850, and set ^H7760 it on the head ^H7218 of Joshua ^H3091 the son ^H1121 of Jehozadak ^H3087, the high ^H1419 priest ^H3548. 12 Then you will say ^H559 to him, ‘Thus ^H3541 says ^H559 Yahweh ^H3068 of hosts ^H6635, “Behold ^H2009, a man ^H376 whose name ^H8034 is [fn]Branch ^H6780, and He will [fn]branch ^H6779 out ^H6779 from where ^H8478 He is; and He will build ^H1129 the temple ^H1964 of Yahweh ^H3068. 13 Indeed, it is He who will build ^H1129 the temple ^H1964 of Yahweh ^H3068, and He who will bear ^H5375 the splendor ^H1935 and sit ^H3427 and rule ^H4910 on His throne ^H3678. Thus, He will be a priest ^H3548 on His throne ^H3678, and the counsel ^H6098 of peace ^H7965 will be between ^H996 the two ^H8147 [fn]offices.”’ 14 Now the crown ^H5850 will become ^H1961 a memorial ^H2146 in the temple ^H1964 of Yahweh ^H3068 to Helem ^H2494, Tobijah ^H2900, Jedaiah ^H3048, and [fn]Hen ^H2581 the son ^H1121 of Zephaniah ^H6846. 15 And those who are far ^H7350 off will come ^H935 and [fn]build ^H1129 the temple ^H1964 of Yahweh ^H3068.” Then you will know ^H3045 that Yahweh ^H3068 of hosts ^H6635 has sent ^H7971 me to you. And it will happen ^H1961 if ^H518 you utterly ^H8085 listen ^H8085 to the voice ^H6963 of Yahweh ^H3068 your God ^H430.
