Curtains of Linen

1 “Moreover, you shall make ^H6213 the tabernacle ^H4908 with ten ^H6235 curtains ^H3407 of fine ^H8336 twisted ^H7806 linen ^H8336 and [fn]violet ^H8504, purple ^H713, and scarlet ^H8144 material; you shall make ^H6213 them with cherubim ^H3742, the work ^H4639 of a skilled ^H2803 embroiderer ^H2803.

2 The length ^H753 of each ^H259 curtain ^H3407 shall be [fn]twenty-eight ^H6242 H8083 cubits ^H520, and the width ^H7341 of each ^H259 curtain ^H3407 four ^H702 cubits ^H520; all ^H3605 the curtains ^H3407 shall have [fn]the same ^H259 measurements ^H4060. 3 Five ^H2568 curtains ^H3407 shall be [fn]joined ^H2266 to one ^H802 another ^H259, and the other five ^H2568 curtains ^H3407 shall be [fn]joined ^H2266 to one ^H802 another ^H259. 4 You shall make ^H6213 loops ^H3924 of violet ^H8504 on the edge ^H8193 of the [fn]outermost ^{H259 H4480 H7098} curtain ^H3407 in the first set ^H2279, and likewise ^H3651 you shall make ^H6213 them on the edge ^H8193 of the curtain ^H3407 that is outermost ^H7020 in the second ^H8145 [fn]set ^H4225. 5 You shall make ^H6213 fifty ^H2572 loops ^H3924 in the one ^H259 curtain ^H3407, and you shall make ^H6213 fifty ^H2572 loops ^H3924 on the [fn]edge ^H7097 of the curtain ^H3407 that is in the second ^H8145 [fn]set ^H4225; the loops ^H3924 shall be opposite ^H6901 each ^H802 other ^H259. 6 You shall also make ^H6213 fifty ^H2572 clasps ^H7165 of gold ^H2091, and [fn]join ^H2266 the curtains ^H3407 to one ^H802 another ^H259 with the clasps ^H7165 so that the [fn]tabernacle ^H4908 will be a unit ^H259.

Curtains of Goats’ Hair

7 “Then you shall make ^H6213 curtains ^H3407 of goats’ ^H5795 hair as a tent ^H168 over ^H5921 the tabernacle ^H4908; you shall make ^H6213 eleven ^H6249 H6240 curtains ^H3407 in all.

8 The length ^H753 of each ^H259 curtain ^H3407 shall be [fn]thirty ^H7970 cubits ^H520, and the width ^H7341 of each ^H259 curtain ^H3407 four ^H702 cubits ^H520; the eleven ^H6249 H6240 curtains ^H3407 shall have [fn]the same ^H259 measurements ^H4060. 9 You shall [fn]join ^H2266 five ^H2568 curtains ^H3407 by ^H905 themselves ^H905 and the other six ^H8337 curtains ^H3407 by ^H905 themselves ^H905, and you shall double ^H3717 over ^H3717 the sixth ^H8345 curtain ^H3407 [fn]at the front ^H6440 of the tent ^H168. 10 You shall make ^H6213 fifty ^H2572 loops ^H3924 on the edge ^H8193 of the [fn]curtain ^H3407 that is outermost ^H7020 in the first [fn]set ^H2279, and fifty ^H2572 loops ^H3924 on the edge ^H8193 of the curtain ^H3407 that is outermost in the second ^H8145 [fn]set ^H2279.

11 “You shall also make ^H6213 fifty ^H2572 clasps ^H7165 of [fn]bronze ^H5178, and you shall put ^H935 the clasps ^H7165 into the loops ^H3924 and [fn]join ^H2266 the tent ^H168 together ^H2266 so that it will be [fn]a unit ^H259. 12 The [fn]overhanging ^H5629 part ^H5629 that is left ^H5736 over ^H5736 in the curtains ^H3407 of the tent ^H168, the half ^H2677 curtain ^H3407 that is left ^H5736 over ^H5736, shall hang ^H5628 over ^H5921 the back ^H268 of the tabernacle ^H4908. 13 The [fn]cubit ^H520 on one ^H2088 side ^H2088 and the cubit ^H520 on the other ^H2088, of what is left ^H5736 over ^H5736 in the length ^H753 of the curtains ^H3407 of the tent ^H168, shall hang ^H5628 over ^H5921 the sides ^H6654 of the tabernacle ^H4908 on one ^H2088 side ^H2088 and on the other ^H2088, to cover ^H3680 it. 14 And you shall make ^H6213 a covering ^H4372 for the tent ^H168 of rams’ ^H352 skins ^H5785 [fn]dyed ^H119 red ^H119 and a covering ^H4372 of [fn]fine ^H8476 leather ^H5785 above ^H4480 H4605.

Boards and Bases

15 “Then you shall make ^H6213 the boards ^H7175 for the tabernacle ^H4908 of acacia ^H7848 wood ^H6086, standing ^H5975 upright ^H5975.

16 [fn]Ten ^H6235 cubits ^H520 shall be the length ^H753 of [fn]each board ^H7175 and one and a half ^H2677 cubits ^H520 the width ^H7341 of each ^H259 board ^H7175. 17 There shall be two ^H8147 tenons ^H3027 for each ^H259 board ^H7175, [fn]fitted ^H7947 to one ^H802 another ^H259; that ^H3651 is ^H3651 what ^H3651 you shall do ^H6213 for all ^H3605 the boards ^H7175 of the tabernacle ^H4908. 18 You shall make ^H6213 the boards ^H7175 for the tabernacle ^H4908: twenty ^H6242 boards ^H7175 [fn]for the south ^H8486 side ^H6285. 19 You shall make ^H6213 forty ^H705 bases ^H134 of silver ^H3701 under ^H8478 the twenty ^H6242 boards ^H7175, two ^H8147 bases ^H134 under ^H8478 one ^H259 board ^H7175 for its two ^H8147 tenons ^H3027 and two ^H8147 bases ^H134 under ^H8478 another ^H259 board ^H7175 for its two ^H8147 tenons ^H3027; 20 and for the second ^H8145 side ^H6763 of the tabernacle ^H4908, on the north ^H6828 side ^H6285, twenty ^H6242 boards ^H7175, 21 and their forty ^H705 bases ^H134 of silver ^H3701; two ^H8147 bases ^H134 under ^H8478 one ^H259 board ^H7175 and two ^H8147 bases ^H134 under ^H8478 another ^H259 board ^H7175. 22 For the [fn]back ^H3411 of the tabernacle ^H4908, to the west ^H3220, you shall make ^H6213 six ^H8337 boards ^H7175. 23 You shall make ^H6213 two ^H8147 boards ^H7175 for the corners ^H4740 of the tabernacle ^H4908 at the [fn]back ^H3411. 24 They shall be double ^H8382 beneath ^H4295, and together ^H3162 they shall be complete ^H8535 [fn]to its top ^H7218 [fn]to the first ^H259 ring ^H2885; this ^H3651 is ^H3651 how ^H3651 it shall be with both ^H8147 of them: they shall form ^H1961 the two ^H8147 corners ^H4740. 25 And there shall be eight ^H8083 boards ^H7175 with their bases ^H134 of silver ^H3701, sixteen ^H8337 H6240 bases ^H134; two ^H8147 bases ^H134 under ^H8478 one ^H259 board ^H7175 and two ^H8147 bases ^H134 under ^H8478 another ^H259 board ^H7175.

26 “Then you shall make ^H6213 bars ^H1280 of acacia ^H7848 wood ^H6086, five ^H2568 for the boards ^H7175 of one ^H259 side ^H6763 of the tabernacle ^H4908, 27 and five ^H2568 bars ^H1280 for the boards ^H7175 of the [fn]other ^H8145 side ^H6763 of the tabernacle ^H4908, and five ^H2568 bars ^H1280 for the boards ^H7175 of the side ^H6763 of the tabernacle ^H4908 for the [fn]back ^H3411 side to the west ^H3220. 28 The middle ^H8484 bar ^H1280 in the [fn]center ^H8432 of the boards ^H7175 shall pass ^H1272 through ^H1272 from end ^H7097 to end ^H7097. 29 And you shall overlay ^H6823 the boards ^H7175 with gold ^H2091, and make ^H6213 their rings ^H2885 of gold ^H2091 as holders ^H1004 for the bars ^H1280; and you shall overlay ^H6823 the bars ^H1280 with gold ^H2091. 30 Then you shall erect ^H6965 the tabernacle ^H4908 according to its plan ^H4941 which ^H834 you have been shown ^H7200 on the mountain ^H2022.

The Veil and Curtain

31 “You shall also make ^H6213 a veil ^H6532 of violet ^H8504, purple ^H713, and scarlet ^H8144 material, and fine ^H8336 twisted ^H7806 linen ^H8336; it shall be made ^H6213 with cherubim ^H3742, the work ^H4639 of a skilled ^H2803 embroiderer ^H2803.

32 Then you shall [fn]hang ^H5414 it on four ^H702 pillars ^H5982 of acacia ^H7848 overlaid ^H6823 with gold ^H2091, their hooks ^H2053 also of gold ^H2091, on four ^H702 bases ^H134 of silver ^H3701. 33 You shall [fn]hang ^H5414 up ^H5414 the veil ^H6532 under ^H8478 the clasps ^H7165, and bring ^H935 in ^H935 the ark ^H727 of the testimony ^H5715 there ^H8033 within ^H1004 the veil ^H6532; and the veil ^H6532 shall [fn]serve ^H914 as ^H914 a ^H914 partition ^H914 for you between ^H996 the Holy ^H6944 Place ^H6944 and the Most ^H6944 Holy ^H6944 Place ^H6944. 34 You shall put ^H5414 the [fn]atoning ^H3727 cover ^H3727 on the ark ^H727 of the testimony ^H5715 in the Most ^H6944 Holy ^H6944 Place ^H6944. 35 And you shall set ^H7760 the table ^H7979 outside ^H4480 H2351 the veil ^H6532, and the lampstand ^H4501 opposite ^H5227 the table ^H7979 on the side ^H6763 of the tabernacle ^H4908 toward the south ^H8486; and you shall put ^H5414 the table ^H7979 on the north ^H6828 side ^H6763.

36 “You shall also make ^H6213 a curtain ^H4539 for the doorway ^H6607 of the tent ^H168 of violet ^H8504, purple ^H713, and scarlet ^H8144 material and fine ^H8336 twisted ^H7806 linen ^H8336, the work ^H4639 of a [fn]weaver ^H7551. 37 And you shall make ^H6213 five ^H2568 pillars ^H5982 of acacia ^H7848 for the curtain ^H4539 and overlay ^H6823 them with gold ^H2091, their hooks ^H2053 also of gold ^H2091; and you shall cast ^H3332 five ^H2568 bases ^H134 of [fn]bronze ^H5178 for them.
