The Bowls of Wrath

1 Then ^G2532 I heard ^G191 a loud ^G3173 voice ^G5456 from the [fn]temple ^G3485, saying ^G3004 to the seven ^G2033 angels ^G32, “Go ^G5217 and pour ^G1632 out ^G1632 on the earth ^G1093 the seven ^G2033 bowls ^G5357 of the wrath ^G2372 of God ^G2316.”

2 So ^G2532 the first ^G4413 angel went ^G565 and poured ^G1632 out ^G1632 his bowl ^G5357 on the earth ^G1093; and a harmful ^G2556 and painful ^G4190 sore ^G1668 [fn]afflicted ^G1096 G1909 the people ^G444 who had ^G2192 the mark ^G5480 of the beast ^G2342 and who worshiped ^G4352 his image ^G1504.

3 The second ^G1208 angel poured ^G1632 out ^G1632 his bowl ^G5357 into the sea ^G2281, and it became ^G1096 blood ^G129 like ^G5613 that of a dead ^G3498 man ^G3498; and every ^G3956 living ^G2222 [fn]thing ^G5590 in the sea ^G2281 died ^G599.

4 Then ^G2532 the third ^G5154 angel poured ^G1632 out ^G1632 his bowl ^G5357 into the rivers ^G4215 and the springs ^G4077 of waters ^G5204; and they became ^G1096 blood ^G129.

5 And I heard ^G191 the angel ^G32 of the waters ^G5204 saying ^G3004, “Righteous ^G1342 are You, the One who is and who was, O Holy ^G3741 One ^G3741, because ^G3754 You judged ^G2919 these ^G3778 things ^G3778; 6 for they poured ^G1632 out ^G1632 the blood ^G129 of saints ^G40 and prophets ^G4396, and You have given ^G1325 them blood ^G129 to drink ^G4095. They [fn]deserve ^G514 it.” 7 And I heard ^G191 the altar ^G2379 saying ^G3004, “Yes ^G3483, Lord ^G2962 God ^G2316, the Almighty ^G3841, true ^G228 and righteous ^G1342 are Your judgments ^G2920.”

8 And the fourth ^G5067 angel poured ^G1632 out ^G1632 his bowl ^G5357 upon the sun ^G2246, and it was given ^G1325 power to scorch ^G2739 people ^G444 with fire ^G4442. 9 And the people ^G444 were scorched ^G2739 with [fn]fierce ^G3173 heat ^G2738; and they blasphemed ^G987 the name ^G3686 of God ^G2316 who has ^G2192 the power ^G1849 over ^G1909 these ^G3778 plagues ^G4127, and they did not repent ^G3340 so as to give ^G1325 Him glory ^G1391.

10 And the fifth ^G3991 angel poured ^G1632 out ^G1632 his bowl ^G5357 on the throne ^G2362 of the beast ^G2342, and his kingdom ^G932 became ^G1096 darkened ^G4656; and they gnawed ^G3145 their tongues ^G1100 because ^G1537 of pain ^G4192, 11 and they blasphemed ^G987 the God ^G2316 of heaven ^G3772 because ^G1537 of their pain ^G4192 and their sores ^G1668; and they did not repent ^G3340 of their deeds ^G2041.

12 The sixth ^G1623 angel poured ^G1632 out ^G1632 his bowl ^G5357 on the great ^G3173 river ^G4215, the Euphrates ^G2166; and its water ^G5204 was dried ^G3583 up, so ^G2443 that ^G2443 the way ^G3598 would be prepared ^G2090 for the kings ^G935 from the [fn]east ^G395 G2246.

Har-Magedon (Armageddon)

13 And I saw ^G3708 coming out of the mouth ^G4750 of the dragon ^G1404, and out of the mouth ^G4750 of the beast ^G2342, and out of the mouth ^G4750 of the false ^G5578 prophet ^G5578, three ^G5140 unclean ^G169 spirits ^G4151 like ^G5613 frogs ^G944; 14 for they are spirits ^G4151 of demons ^G1140, performing ^G4160 signs ^G4592, which ^G3739 go ^G1607 out ^G1607 to the kings ^G935 of the entire ^G3650 [fn]world ^G3625, to gather ^G4863 them together ^G4863 for the war ^G4171 of the great ^G3173 day ^G2250 of God ^G2316, the Almighty ^G3841. 15 (“Behold ^G2400, I am coming ^G2064 like ^G5613 a thief ^G2812. The Seventh Bowl of Wrath

17 Then ^G2532 the seventh ^G1442 angel poured ^G1632 out ^G1632 his bowl ^G5357 upon the air ^G109, and a loud ^G3173 voice ^G5456 came ^G1831 out ^G1831 of the [fn]temple ^G3485 from the throne ^G2362, saying ^G3004, “It is done ^G1096.”

18 And there were flashes ^G796 of ^G796 lightning ^G796 and sounds ^G5456 and peals ^G1027 of ^G1027 thunder ^G1027; and there was a great ^G3173 earthquake ^G4578, such ^G3634 as there had not been ^G1096 since ^G575 G3739 mankind ^G444 came ^G1096 to be upon the earth ^G1093, so ^G5082 great ^G3173 an earthquake ^G4578 was it, and so ^G3779 mighty ^G3173. 19 The great ^G3173 city ^G4172 [fn]was split ^G1096 into three ^G5140 parts ^G3313, and the cities ^G4172 of the [fn]nations ^G1484 fell ^G4098.
