lit., "to go or come together" (sun, "with," baino, "to go"), signifies "to happen together," of things or events, Mar 10:32; Luk 24:14; Act 3:10; 1Cr 10:11; 1Pe 4:12; 2Pe 2:22; "befell" in Act 20:19; in Act 21:35, "so it was."

Notes:

(1) In Phl 1:12, the phrase ta kat' (i.e., kata) eme, lit., "the things relating to me," is rendered "the things which happened unto me."

(2) In Luk 24:35, the phrase "the things that happen in the way," RV (AV, "what things were done in the way"), is, lit., "the things in the way."
