Aiah:
(clamor).
(1.) Son of Zibeon, a descendant of Seir and ancestor of one of the wives of Esau (1 Chronicles 1:40) called in Genesis 36:24 AJAH. Ajah is the same as AIAH. He probably died before his father, as the succession fell to his brother Anah.
(2.) Father of Rizpah, the concubine of Saul (2 Samuel 3:7; 21:8; 21:10-11). (B.C. before 1040)
The Blue Letter Bible ministry and the BLB Institute hold to the historical, conservative Christian faith, which includes a firm belief in the inerrancy of Scripture. Since the text and audio content provided by BLB represent a range of evangelical traditions, all of the ideas and principles conveyed in the resource materials are not necessarily affirmed, in total, by this ministry.
