Ashdoth-Pisgah:
(Deu 3:17; Jos 12:3; 13:20) in Authorized Version, but in Revised Version translated "slopes of Pisgah." In Deu 4:49 it is translated in the Authorized Version "springs of Pisgah." The name Ashdoth is translated "springs" in the Authorized Version, but "slopes" in the Revised Version, of Jos 10:40 and Jos 12:8. It has been identified with the springs under Mount Nebo, now called 'Ayun Musa.
The Blue Letter Bible ministry and the BLB Institute hold to the historical, conservative Christian faith, which includes a firm belief in the inerrancy of Scripture. Since the text and audio content provided by BLB represent a range of evangelical traditions, all of the ideas and principles conveyed in the resource materials are not necessarily affirmed, in total, by this ministry.
