Bush:
in which Jehovah appeared to Moses in the wilderness (Exd 3:2; Act 7:30). It is difficult to say what particular kind of plant or bush is here meant. Probably it was the mimosa or acacia. The words "in the bush" in Mar 12:26; Luk 20:37, mean "in the passage or paragraph on the bush;" i.e., in Ex. 3.
The Blue Letter Bible ministry and the BLB Institute hold to the historical, conservative Christian faith, which includes a firm belief in the inerrancy of Scripture. Since the text and audio content provided by BLB represent a range of evangelical traditions, all of the ideas and principles conveyed in the resource materials are not necessarily affirmed, in total, by this ministry.
