Ought (Verb):

denotes "it is necessary," "one must;" in Luk 24:26, AV, "ought" (RV "behoved it"); the neuter of the present participle, used as a noun, is translated "things which they ought (not)" in 1Ti 5:13; in Act 19:36, "ye ought" (see NEED).
