Slandered:
an adjective, "slanderous, accusing falsely," is used as a noun, translated "slanderers" in 1Ti 3:11, where the reference is to those who are given to finding fault with the demeanor and conduct of others, and spreading their innuendos and criticisms in the church; in 2Ti 3:3, RV (AV, "false accusers"); Tts 2:3 (ditto): see ACCUSER, DEVIL.
The Blue Letter Bible ministry and the BLB Institute hold to the historical, conservative Christian faith, which includes a firm belief in the inerrancy of Scripture. Since the text and audio content provided by BLB represent a range of evangelical traditions, all of the ideas and principles conveyed in the resource materials are not necessarily affirmed, in total, by this ministry.
