Lamentations 3:21-24

Theme: Hope in God

Point: Because God is God, there is hope — even in the midst of a seemingly hopeless situation.

Outline:

  1. The Lord is good all the time (Lam 3:22-23a).
    1. God's steadfast love (v. 22a).
    2. God's compassionate mercies (v. 22b).
    3. God's renewed favor (v. 23a).
      1. The novelty of God's favor: new.
      2. The consistency of God's favor: every morning.
  2. The Lord is worthy to be praised (Lam 3:23b).
    1. God is always faithful.
    2. God is more than faithful.
  3. The Lord is all you need (Lam 3:24).
