加拉太书3:10-14 含义

这里,保罗提出了一个非常简单的论点:如果你认为藉着遵守旧约律法就可以获得神面前的义的话,你将永远得不到。律法说,不常照律法书上所记一切之事去行的,已经失败了,与神隔绝了。实际上,任何没有完全遵守律法的人都是被咒诅的。没有人完全遵守了律法,没有人可以这样。所以,试图藉着完全遵守律法(这是不可能的)获得在神面前的义,为什么会有意义呢?

保罗从旧约哈巴古书2:4中引用了一节经文:"惟义人因信得生",或者换句话说,获得在神面前之义的唯一方式是藉着信心。关于这点没有任何新的内容。对亚伯拉罕来说它是真实的,一直可以追溯到创世记;在以色列诸王时期也是真实的,在哈巴古书中;在今天它还是真实的。

保罗随后指出律法和信心是分离的,因为如果你实践律法,认为它会建立在神面前的义,那么你就是凭律法生活,而不是凭信心生活。

但基督在十字架上为我们的献祭-他的死去、埋葬和复活-赎出我们脱离律法的咒诅。耶稣被挂在木质十字架上,木头上,且蒙受了申命记21:23中所写的咒诅:凡挂在木头上都是被咒诅的。藉着死在十字架上,耶稣为我们受了咒诅,赎出我们脱离律法的咒诅。律法要求在它之下的所有人都必须一直遵守它,即使曾犯过一个错误,他们也受了咒诅。然而,在十字架上,基督却将这咒诅背负在他自己身上,代替我们牺牲了自己。

然后,保罗将耶稣与亚伯拉罕联系起来。耶稣不仅是亚伯拉罕肉身的后代,也是神对亚伯拉罕应许的应验:万国都必因他得福亚伯拉罕的福,因基督耶稣可以临到外邦人,因为藉着信心我们都可以获得在神面前的义。
