第 21 至 39 节详细说明了利未子孙家族的人数和职责。本节（第 21 至 26 节）集中讲述了革顺家族。革顺是利未的长子。在他的家族中，有两个家族，都是革顺两个有名有姓的儿子的后代：立尼家族和示每家族。这些是革顺人的家族的说法可能意味着立尼和示每是革顺仅有的两个儿子。
