腓利门书 1:20-21 含义

保罗作为主的囚徒,出于爱向腓利门发出恳求(腓利门书 1:9);他请求腓利门允许阿尼西母返回罗马(腓利门书 1:11-14),释放他(腓利门书 1:15-16),并免除他的债务(腓利门书 1:17-19)。保罗以另一种家庭般的认同称呼腓利门,称他为兄弟。是的,兄弟,让我在主里从你那里受益;在基督里使我的心焕然一新。

教会传统认为腓利门按照保罗的要求做了一切,释放了他的前奴隶,免了他的债务和过错,并把阿尼西母作为基督里亲爱的弟兄送回罗马。早期教会普遍认为阿尼西母在提摩太之后成为以弗所教会的领袖。早期教父伊格内修斯(死于公元 108 年)在他的其中一封书信中提到一个名叫阿尼西母的人,称他为以弗所的主教(伊格内修斯致以弗所人书,1:1、1:2、1:6)。传统认为这就是写给腓利门书里的阿尼西母。据了解,阿尼西母是在罗马皇帝图密善(公元 81 - 96 年)的迫害中殉道的,或者可能是在罗马皇帝图拉真(公元 98 - 117 年)统治下殉道的。从这个意义上说,保罗的期望将会得到超出的满足;腓利门所做的确实比保罗要求的还要多。腓利门似乎不仅释放了阿尼西母,而且还训练了阿尼西母,使他成为基督的伟大牧师。
