Born: October 25, 1659, Bandon, County Cork, Ireland.

Died: May 20, 1726, Richmond, Surrey, England.

Brady attended Westminster School, Christ Church, Oxford, and Trinity College. After being ordained, he served for a while in County Cork before moving to London. There he was vicar of St. Catherine Cree church 1691-1696. He was also chaplain to King William II and Queen Anne. His collaborative works with Nahum Tate include:

  • New Version of the Psalms of David, 1696
  • A Supplement to the New Version of Psalms by Dr Brady and Mr Tate, 1700

These were followed by several editions over the next few years, a supplement in 1708, and four more editions up through 1740.
