Charles Crozat Converse (1834-1918)

Converse studied music in Leipzig, Germany, and law in America (Albany University). He worked as an attorney in Erie, Pennsylvania. He wrote a number of pieces of music, including tunes for Ira Sankey and William Bradbury.
