Words: Charles Wesley, Hymns and Sacred Poems, 1749.
Music: "Trentham," Robert Jackson, in Fifty Sacred Leaflets, 1888 |
This is Thy will, I know,
That I should holy be,
Should let my sins this moment go,
This moment turn to Thee.
O might I now embrace
Thy all sufficient power,
And nevermore to sin give place,
And never grieve Thee more!
The Blue Letter Bible ministry and the BLB Institute hold to the historical, conservative Christian faith, which includes a firm belief in the inerrancy of Scripture. Since the text and audio content provided by BLB represent a range of evangelical traditions, all of the ideas and principles conveyed in the resource materials are not necessarily affirmed, in total, by this ministry.
