TR Concordance for ἔχουσιν

Jesus told him, “Foxes have dens, and birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”

Now when he heard this, he said, “It is not those who are well who need a doctor, but those who are sick.

“They don't need to go away,” Jesus told them. “You give them something to eat.”

Jesus called his disciples and said, “I have compassion on the crowd, because they've already stayed with me three days and have nothing to eat. I don't want to send them away hungry, otherwise they might collapse on the way.”

“But if we say, ‘Of human origin,' we're afraid of the crowd, because everyone considers John to be a prophet.”

When Jesus heard this, he told them, “It is not those who are well who need a doctor, but those who are sick. I didn't come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Jesus said to them, “The wedding guests cannot fast while the groom is with them, can they? As long as they have the groom with them, they cannot fast.

“But they have no root; they are short-lived. When distress or persecution comes because of the word, they immediately fall away.

“Send them away so that they can go into the surrounding countryside and villages to buy themselves something to eat.”

“I have compassion on the crowd, because they've already stayed with me three days and have nothing to eat.

Jesus replied to them, “It is not those who are healthy who need a doctor, but those who are sick.

“And the seed on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy. Having no root, these believe for a while and fall away in a time of testing.

Jesus told him, “Foxes have dens, and birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”

“And you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you; for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.”

“I tell you, in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who don't need repentance.

“But Abraham said, ‘They have Moses and the prophets; they should listen to them.'

When the wine ran out, Jesus's mother told him, “They don't have any wine.”

“If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. Now they have no excuse for their sin.

After some time had passed, Paul said to Barnabas, “Let's go back and visit the brothers and sisters in every town where we have preached the word of the Lord and see how they're doing.”

“So if Demetrius and the craftsmen who are with him have a case against anyone, the courts are in session, and there are proconsuls. Let them bring charges against one another.

I can testify about them that they have zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.

Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret?

Come to your senses[fn] and stop sinning; for some people are ignorant about God. I say this to your shame.

The sons of Levi who receive the priestly office have a command according to the law to collect a tenth from the people ​— ​that is, from their brothers and sisters ​— ​though they have also descended from Abraham.

We have an altar from which those who worship at the tabernacle do not have a right to eat.

“I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, who do not hold this teaching, who haven't known “the so-called secrets[fn] of Satan” ​— ​as they say ​— ​I am not putting any other burden on you.

Each of the four living creatures had six wings; they were covered with eyes around and inside. Day and night they never stop,[fn] saying,

Holy, holy, holy,

Lord God, the Almighty,

who was, who is, and who is to come.

Then locusts came out of the smoke on to the earth, and power[fn] was given to them like the power that scorpions have on the earth.

and they had tails with stingers like scorpions, so that with their tails they had the power to harm people for five months.

They have authority to close up the sky so that it does not rain during the days of their prophecy. They also have power over the waters to turn them into blood and to strike the earth with every plague whenever they want.

“and the smoke of their torment will go up forever and ever. There is no rest[fn] day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or anyone who receives the mark of its name.

“These have one purpose, and they give their power and authority to the beast.

Night will be no more; people will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, because the Lord God will give them light, and they will reign forever and ever.
