“Is Yahweh H3068 not in Zion H6726? Is her King H4428 not within her?”
“Why H4069 have they provoked H3707 Me to anger H3707 with their graven H6456 images H6456, with foreign H5236 [fn]idols H1892?”
When He gives H5414 forth His voice H6963, there is a tumult H1995 of waters H4325 in the heavens H8064,
And He causes the clouds H5387 to ascend H5927 from the end H7097 of the earth H776;
He makes H6213 lightning H1300 for the rain H4306,
And brings H3318 out H3318 the wind H7307 from His storehouses H214.
But I was like a gentle H441 lamb H3532 led H2986 to the slaughter H2873;
And I did not know H3045 that they had devised H2803 thoughts H4284 against H5921 me, saying,
“Let us make H7843 the tree H6086 with its [fn]fruit H3899 a ruin H7843,
And let us cut H3772 him off H3772 from the land H776 of the living H2416,
That his name H8034 be remembered H2142 no H3808 more H5750.”
Thus H3541 says H559 Yahweh H3068 concerning H5921 all H3605 My evil H7451 neighbors H7934 who beat H5060 at the inheritance H5159 with which H834 I have caused H5157 My people H5971 Israel H3478 to H5157 inherit H5157, “Behold H2009, I am about to uproot H5428 them from their land H127 and will uproot H5428 the house H1004 of Judah H3063 from among H8432 them.
O Yahweh H3068, the hope H4723 of Israel H3478,
All H3605 who forsake H5800 You will be put H954 to H954 shame H954.
Those who turn H5493 [fn]away H5493 on earth H776 will be written H3789 down H3789
Because H3588 they have forsaken H5800 the fountain H4726 of living H2416 water H4325, even Yahweh H3068.
‘A rumbling H7588 has come H935 to the end H7097 of the earth H776
Because H3588 Yahweh H3068 has a contention H7379 against the nations H1471.
He is entering H8199 into H8199 judgment H8199 with all H3605 flesh H1320;
As for the wicked H7563, He has given H5414 them to the sword H2719,' declares H5002 Yahweh H3068.”
Indeed H1571, there was also H1571 a man H376 who prophesied H5012 in the name H8034 of Yahweh H3068, Uriah H223 the son H1121 of Shemaiah H8098 from Kiriath-jearim H7157; and he prophesied H5012 against H5921 this H2088 city H5892 and against H5921 this H2088 land H776 words H1697 similar to all H3605 those of Jeremiah H3414.
“Behold H2009, I am bringing H935 them from the north H6828 country H776,
And I will gather H6908 them from the remote H3411 parts H3411 of the earth H776,
Among them the blind H5787 and the lame H6455,
The woman H2030 with child H2030 and she who is in H3205 labor H3205 with child, together H3162;

“If H518 the heavens H8064 above H4480 H4605 can be measured H4058

and of those who bring H935 a thank H8426 offering H8426 into the house H1004 of Yahweh H3068. For I will [fn]return H7725 the [fn]fortunes H7622 of the land H776 as they were at first H7223,' says H559 Yahweh H3068.
“Therefore H3651 thus H3541 says H559 Yahweh H3068, ‘You have not obeyed H8085 Me in proclaiming H7121 [fn]release H1865 each H376 man H376 to his brother H251 and each H376 man H376 to his neighbor H7453. Indeed, that day H3117 belongs to Lord H136 Yahweh H3068 of hosts H6635,
A day H3117 of vengeance H5360, so as to avenge H5358 Himself on His adversaries H6862;
And the sword H2719 will devour H398 and be H7646 satiated H7646
And [fn]drink H7301 its fill H7301 of their blood H1818;
For there will be a sacrifice H2077 to Lord H136 Yahweh H3068 of hosts H6635
In the land H776 of the north H6828 by the river H5104 Euphrates H6578.
“For behold H2009, I am going to arouse H5782 and bring H5927 up H5927 against H5921 Babylon H894
An assembly H6951 of great H1419 nations H1471 from the land H776 of the north H6828,
And they will arrange H6186 their battle H6186 lines H6186 against her;
From there H8033 she will be taken H3920 captive H3920.
Their arrows H2671 will be like [fn]a warrior H1368 who makes one childless H7919

Set H6942 apart H6942 the nations H1471 against H5921 her;
Summon H8085 against H5921 her the kingdoms H4467 of Ararat H780, Minni H4508, and Ashkenaz H813;
Appoint H6485 a marshal H2951 against H5921 her;
Bring H5927 up H5927 the horses H5483 like bristly H5569 locusts H3218.
Then I said H559 I would pour H8210 out H8210 My wrath H2534 on them, to [fn]spend H3615 My anger H639 against them in the midst H8432 of the land H776 of Egypt H4714.
“By the abundance H7230 of your iniquities H5771,
In the unrighteousness H5766 of your trade H7404
You profaned H2490 your sanctuaries H4720.

Flocks H5739 will lie H7257 down H7257 in her midst H8432,
All H3605 the beasts H2416 of the nation H1471;
Both H1571 the [fn]pelican H6893 and the hedgehog H7090
Will lodge H3885 in [fn]the tops H3730 of H3730 her pillars H3730;
Their voice H6963 will sing H7891 in the window H2474,
I will cut H3772 off H3772 the chariot H7393 from Ephraim H669
And the horse H5483 from Jerusalem H3389;
And the bow H7198 of war H4421 will be cut H3772 off H3772.
And He will speak H1696 peace H7965 to the nations H1471;
And His reign H4915 will be from sea H3220 to sea H3220
And from the [fn]River H5104 to the ends H657 of the earth H776.
“And it will be H1961 in that day H3117,” declares H5002 Yahweh H3068 of hosts H6635, “that I will cut H3772 off H3772 the names H8034 of the idols H6091 from the land H776, and they will no H3808 longer H5750 be remembered H2142; and I will also H1571 cause the prophets H5030 and the unclean H2932 spirit H7307 to pass H5674 away H5674 from the land H776.
