And that we may walk ^H1980 in His paths ^H734.”

For from Zion ^H6726 will go ^H3318 forth ^H3318 the law ^H8451,

And the word ^H1697 of Yahweh ^H3068 from Jerusalem ^H3389.

“[fn]But as for you, Bethlehem ^H1035 Ephrathah ^H672,

Too little ^H6810 to be among the clans ^H505 of Judah ^H3063,

From you One will go ^H3318 forth ^H3318 for Me to be ruler ^H4910 in Israel ^H3478.

[fn]His goings ^H4163 forth ^H4163 are from everlasting ^H6924,

From the ancient ^H5769 days ^H3117.”

From you has gone ^H3318 forth ^H3318

One who devised ^H2803 evil ^H7451 against ^H5921 Yahweh ^H3068,

A [fn]vile ^H1100 counselor ^H3289.

Therefore ^H5921 H3651 the law ^H8451 is [fn]ignored ^H6313,

And justice ^H4941 never ^H3808 H5331 comes ^H3318 forth.

For the wicked ^H7563 surround ^H3803 the righteous ^H6662;

“They are dreaded ^H366 and feared ^H3372;

“From [fn]them will come ^H3318 the cornerstone ^H6438,

From [fn]them the tent ^H3489 peg ^H3489,

From [fn]them the bow ^H7198 of [fn]battle ^H4421,

From [fn]them every ^H3605 good [fn]taskmaster ^H5065, all of them together ^H3162.

And it will be in that day ^H3117, that living ^H2416 waters ^H4325 will flow ^H3318 out ^H3318 of Jerusalem ^H3389, half ^H2677 of them toward ^H413 the eastern ^H6931 sea ^H3220 and the other half ^H2677 toward ^H413 the western ^H314 sea ^H3220; it will be in summer ^H7019 as well as in winter ^H2779.
