He stayed there until Herod's death, so that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet might be fulfilled: Out of Egypt I called my Son.

“We heard him say, ‘I will destroy this temple made with human hands, and in three days I will build another not made by hands.' ”
While he was saying this, a cloud appeared and overshadowed them. They became afraid as they entered the cloud.
When he left there,[fn] the scribes and the Pharisees began to oppose him fiercely and to cross-examine him about many things;
When he had said these things, all his adversaries were humiliated, but the whole crowd was rejoicing over all the glorious things he was doing.
“For we heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth will destroy this place and change the customs that Moses handed down to us.”
but he became a priest with an oath made by the one who said to him:
The Lord has sworn
and will not change his mind,
“You are a priest forever.”
I looked and heard an eagle[fn] flying high overhead, crying out in a loud voice, “Woe! Woe! Woe to those who live on the earth, because of the remaining trumpet blasts that the three angels are about to sound! ”
I heard the angel of the waters say,
You are just,
the Holy One, who is and who was,
because you have passed judgment on these things.
