Then Yahweh ^H3068 said ^H559 to Moses ^H4872, “Stretch ^H5186 out ^H5186 your hand ^H3027 toward ^H5921 the sky ^H8064, that there may be darkness ^H2822 over ^H5921 the land ^H776 of Egypt ^H4714, even a darkness ^H2822 which may be felt ^H4959.”

There is an appointed ^H2165 time ^H2165 for everything ^H3605. And there is a time ^H6256 for every ^H3605 [fn]matter ^H2656 under ^H8478 heaven ^H8064—

“It is I who made ^H6213 the earth ^H776 and created ^H1254 man ^H120 upon it.

“Also ^H637, My hand ^H3027 founded ^H3245 the earth ^H776,

And My right ^H3225 hand ^H3225 spread ^H2946 out ^H2946 the heavens ^H8064;

When I call ^H7121 to them, they stand ^H5975 together ^H3162.

We have become ^H1961 like those over whom You have never ^{H3808 H4480 H5769} ruled ^H4910,

Like those who were not called ^H7121 by Your name ^H8034.

It is He who made ^H6213 the earth ^H776 by His power ^H3581,

Who established ^H3559 the world ^H8398 by His wisdom ^H2451,

And by His understanding ^H8394 He stretched ^H5186 out ^H5186 the heavens ^H8064.

“Though ^H518 they dig ^H2864 into Sheol ^H7585,

From there ^H8033 will My hand ^H3027 take ^H3947 them;

And though ^H518 they ascend ^H5927 to heaven ^H8064,

From there ^H8033 will I bring ^H3381 them down ^H3381.
